The brass blade, and the warning

Brass cuts ice faster than polycarbonate because it is harder. It is also harder than the printed heating elements bonded to a rear screen, and the family page above says exactly that: a brass edge cuts faster and will mark glass-mounted heating elements, which is why most are plastic.

The tool carries both. Use the 11 cm plastic one on any screen with heating in it.

The head

360° rotating, locking every 90°. In line with the pole it pushes snow off a roof; across it, it sweeps a screen.

The bristles

Polystyrene, 27 cm wide. The only named bristle material on this shelf, and the only published brush width.
